Sigachi Industries stocks today, Telangana Factory Blast, Sigachi Pharma Shares Live Updates: Sigachi Industries on Monday said production at its Hyderabad plant, which saw a fire incident leading to the death of several workers, would be paused for around 90 days to restore affected equipment and structures.
The death toll in the blast at Sigachi Industries Plant in Pashmylaram near here has gone up to 37, even as 25 are under treatment in different private hospitals.
Shares of Sigachi tumbled about 19 per cent from yesterday’s intraday high of ₹56.03 to a low of ₹45.38 on July 1, 2025.

Sigachi Industries factory blast live: Company halts production for 3 months
Sigachi Industries on Monday said production at its Hyderabad plant, which saw a fire incident leading to the death of several workers, would be paused for around 90 days to restore affected equipment and structures. In addition to the human impact, the incident also caused damage to certain ancillary equipment and civil structures within the facility, it said in a regulatory filing.

Sigachi Industries factory blast live: Shares dive nearly 19% following the explosion
Shares of Sigachi tumbled about 19 per cent from yesterday’s intraday high of ₹56.03 to a low of ₹45.38 on July 1, 2025.
The stock today opened at ₹47.94 against the previous close of ₹48.76.

Sigachi plant blast live: Death toll climbs to 37
The death toll in the blast at Sigachi Industries Plant in Pashmylaram near here has gone up to 37, even as 25 are under treatment in different private hospitals.
According to Sangareddy district officials, 37 workers, including a vice-president of the drug-maker, have lost their lives so far, even as 35 workers are under treatment in various private hospitals while 57 workers reached homes safely.
“The death toll could go up further as some workers are feared trapped under the debris. Rescue operations are in full-swing,” an official told Business Line on Tuesday.
