Wipro on Thursday announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100 per cent stake in the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN, a Samsung company, for a cash consideration of up to $375 million (approximately Rs 3,270 crore). Under the agreement, more than 5,600 DTS employees, including senior leadership, across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, will move to Wipro.
Blackstone portfolio company R Systems International Limited, a global leader in digital product engineering, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Novigo Solutions, a Mangaluru-headquartered specialist in low-code/no-code (LCNC) development and intelligent automation services. The strategic acquisition will create a global digital product engineering powerhouse with revenues of approximately Rs 2,060 crore (around $240 million) and EBITDA of approximately Rs 3,800 million (around $45 million). The deal will bring together end-to-end capabilities for the engineering, deployment, and management of enterprise-scale fleets of AI agents on a single, governed platform.
Bondada Engineering Ltd has incorporated a subsidiary under the name Bondada Dynamics Private Limited. The newly incorporated subsidiary will serve as a dedicated vehicle for the Company’s entry into the defence sector, an area of immense strategic relevance and opportunity.
