Whether you favour ultra-crisp bacon or prefer it to be more on the soft side, cooking it evenly is essential to yield a satisfactory taste.
Cooking the ideal set of bacon can be a struggle when certain parts are sizzling while others go cold and untouched.
An even bigger annoyance is grease and oil splashing everywhere and getting on your stovetop, making the whole process feel chaotic.
To curb all of this, mum and TikTok user Whitney Hulse shared how she likes to prepare bacon so that it’s thoroughly cooked and doesn’t make a mess in the kitchen.
On TikTok, Hulse demonstrated that she likes to throw her bacon in a pot instead of a pan when whipping it up to avoid the aforementioned issues.
“Avoids getting grease all over the stove,” she said. She showed the process of cooking the bacon, stirring it freely about the pot as it browned. The bacon made a sizzling sound like it would in a pan.

Another person shared their alternate method, writing: “I put mines in the air fryer, not all that grease and it gets done quicker.”
A second person mirrored that sentiment, writing: “Air fryer and foil = no mess try it.”
And an additional person, grateful for the hack said: “I’m forever gonna cook my bacon in a pot. Omg, you rock!!”
