Some fans have even tagged director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who worked with Sri on the hit film Maanagaram, asking him to check in on the actor and offer support.
Sri began his career with the much-acclaimed film Vazhakku Enn 18/9, directed by Balaji Sakthivel. He later went on to act in Onaayum Aatukuttiyum, Son Papdi, Vil Ambu, Maanagaram, and Irugapatru. Before films, he was a familiar face on television, having played a lead role in Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Season 2 on Vijay TV. He also briefly appeared on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1, hosted by Kamal Haasan, but left the show within four days.
