If you want a breeze on a budget, the Bush Digital Grey Tower Fan is currently discounted by a third. Usually retailing for £65, the fan has been discounted at Argos to £43.33 as part of a special offer that’s arrived just in time for warmer days.
Meanwhile, shoppers have been praising the device. One shopper who called it a ‘lifesaver’ said: “This fan has been a total lifesaver during the heatwave. Even on the lowest setting, it puts out a surprisingly strong breeze. It runs quietly, which has been great when watching TV without being too distracting. Setup was quick and straightforward— ready to go in just a few minutes.
“I really like the big LED panel on the front. Overall, a great fan that’s made a huge difference during the hot weather!”
Another shopper added: “Arrived in perfect timing to save us from the UK heatwave. I’ve become the favourite member of the family, even with the cat, because I bought this to keep us cool and they all love it! Our teenager even joined us in the lounge! However, some shoppers complained about switching the fan modes. They added: “One thing I’m not fond of is switching between modes, which resets your desired fan speed to the first setting, instead of saving it; however, if you have a remote, this shouldn’t be a problem changing it.
“I think this could work in rooms that have open spaces, since this is a tower fan, its different to a standard desktop fan that has a concentrated spot for windflow. The product arrived in a branded box and was nicely packaged. It was very easy to set up right out of the box. The build quality is great, and it looks and feels sleek, taking up less space than a conventional fan. It can be operated with a remote or by using the controls on top of the fan.”
