The first is Question ID 347577562, that appeared in the domestic first shift exam on April 3. While the second is from the international set, which is a physics question with ID 347577939 and administered during the April 2 first shift.

JEE Result Session 2 LIVE: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 16 responded to various concerns flagged by candidates regarding the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 answer key after complaints surfaced about alleged errors in answer options, misrecorded responses, and in some cases, blank response sheets—leading to widespread frustration among students, parents, and teachers.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the NTA reiterated its commitment to maintaining a transparent and impartial evaluation process. The NTA also urged candidates to stay calm and not be swayed by misleading reports that could add to their anxiety.

In 2024, the scorecards for JEE Result Session 2 were declared on April 24.

Along with scores, NTA is expected to release the final answer key today.

Students will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, minus one mark for an incorrect answer, while no marks will be given for unanswered questions.

NTA has not yet declared the results for JEE Mains 2025 session 2.

The paper was conducted in two shifts from April 2 to April 7- a first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. A single shift on April 8- from 3 pm to 6 pm, while JEE mains Paper 2A and 2B was conducted in a single shift- from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Along with the scores, NTA will release the all-India rank (AIR) list. The best of the two will be considered for ranking for those who attempted both sessions.

Students will be required to enter login credentials such as application number and password to check results.

“NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness,” the exam conducting agency said on X.

The Indian Institute of Technology-Madras had topped the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings released in August 2024.

The scores for JEE Mains 2025 are expected on Thursday, April 17. There is no confirmation of the time yet.

The objection window for JEE Mains 2025 was closed on April 13, 2025.

After NTA releases scores, candidates qualifying for the JEE Mains 2025 Exam will be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other participating institutes through the JoSAA counselling process.

NTA previously issued clarification regarding provisional answer keys. In a post on X, NTA said, “Drawing conclusions based on the provisional answer keys is not desirable. NTA would like to advise and inform candidates that they should not to be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety.”

The provisional answer key for JEE Mains session 2 Paper 1 was released on April 11. On April 13, NTA closed the JEE Mains session 2 provisional answer key objection window.

NTA JEE Main Session 2 Paper I (BE/BTech) was conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 at 531 centres in 285 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India. The Paper 2 exam (BArch/BPlanning) was held on 9 April 2025.
