Despite resorting to bleach in every wash, they struggled to restore their bedding’s brightness, as evident from the yellowing in a photo they shared.
They explained: “When washing my white bedding I always add 1.5 cups of Ace bleach (20 mins into the cycle), and wash at 60 degrees with biological powder.”
Frustrated with their off-white bedsheets despite their efforts, the member lamented that they had employed this method from the beginning, yet their covers remained stained.
Luckily, the group came to the rescue, recommending the use of Napisan to restore the bedding to its brilliant white glory.
“Soak [it] in Napisan overnight, best stuff there is,” responded one Facebook user, with another chiming in to say that the baby detergent “works wonders”.
A few members agreed, noting that Napisan is readily available at most supermarkets.
One member remarked: “Always works for my pillowcases. It is usually in the baby aisle at the supermarket not with the laundry products.”
Some recommended incorporating the product directly into the washing machine. One user shared: “I add it to every white load.”
