Dixon Technologies has formed a Rs 370 crore joint venture for display modules manufacturing with Chinese company HKC Overseas. The Dixon Technologies-HKC Overseas joint venture is for manufacturing and selling of LCD and TFT-LCD modules that are used in electronic devices like TV, mobile phones etc for display, a regulatory filing said on Saturday. HKC Overseas Ltd will acquire 26 per cent stake in Dixon Display Technologies Pvt Ltd (DDTPL) for USD 10.998 million, about Rs 95.5 crore and Dixon will acquire 74 per cent stake in the JV for USD 31.3 million, about Rs 274 crore in two tranches.
Italian design house Pininfarina SpA firm, an associate company of Tech Mahindra, increased its shareholding in retail and consumer firm Signature Srl to 84 per cent for € 134,375, on August 14. The acquisition of Signature is aimed at strengthening the presence of Pininfarina in the consumer channel, while furthering the Pininfarina brand.

KPIT Technologies has informed exchanges the acquisition of Caresoft (Caresoft Global Technologies, Inc. US, Caresoft Engineering Services Ltd, UK, Careglotech de RL de CV Mexico, OXI SRL Italy) for total consideration of up to $191 million. Further on August 8, it informed about the completion of customary closing conditions and overall changes in the macros business environment, the parties together renegotiated & finalizsd the total consideration amount for acquisition of Caresoft up to $157 Million (including $15 million variable pay based on achievement of revenue and other business synergy milestones).
Pavna Industries has entered into a joint venture agreement with SmartChip Microelectronic Corporation (SMC), Taiwan based Company, who will offer to undertake and carry on the business of inter alia making electronic components for the automobile industry (ICE & EV). Under the agreement, Pavna will bring its operational, manufacturing, and procurement expertise, as well as its deep understanding of the Indian automotive market, to oversee and manage the JV’s operations in India. SMC will contribute its present and future technical skills, innovations, and R&D capabilities in automotive e-lock systems, EV components like Motor Controller, Throttle Body, Dashboard for 2W & 3W, EV charging piles, and e-locking solutions for residential and commercial applications.
